BY
SUZIE HEARL CANALE
"The Beantown Tales" is a collection of children's books written by Suzie Hearl Canale which educates
readers about important issues concerning the three main elements of the earth;
the environment, humanitarian kindness and endangered animal preservation
Hopeful to empower children towards brainstorming & implementing solutions, readers can lose themselves within the adventurous tales while becoming excited about their own abilities to make key changes within their society. All of the flowers mentioned within the stories are favorite's of the author and are all real varieties that exist around the globe. Books also include a brief biography of the plant's background to further teach children about these important members of our ecological system.
"I believe both "The Land of Chocolate Cosmos" and "The Popcorn Hydrangea of Poppingtom" will succeed in helping the youths of the United States learn about the importance of preservation and conservation. A highlight for me I would have to say is the page in the back devoted to the actual plant that inspired the story. Including that really helped to tie in the fantastical elements of the story with the world around us. I also applaud your ability to rhyme, you have quite a talent. Sincerely,Max Weber (Events Coordinator, The Book Cove)"
