The Land of Chocolate Cosmos

"The Land of Chocolate Cosmos" is the first installment of the "Green Series" which focuses on the environmental issue of preserving our natural resources.  The topic is introduced through a blithe occurring throughout the land caused by the townspeople wasting their chocolate cosmos.  As the flower begins to become endangered, the magic of the petals disappears leaving the town without their beloved chocolate.  With the help of Coco(a character inspired by Suzie's first son), the community learns how to preserve their cherished flower and begin their very first "Green Policy" initiative.

The Popcorn Hydrangea of Poppingtom

Written as the sequel to "The Land of Chocolate Cosmos", a town which grows magical  popcorn popping flowers is threatened by air pollution when their busy drive in  movie lot produces too much smog.  Hoping to stave off a popcorn tragedy, a determined, environmentally conscious boy,Nicholas, works to eliminate the problem by writing a new anti pollution act. Illustrated again by  Kevin Coffey readers won't be disappointed by the fantastical popcorn world created to teach children about the importance of clean air while keeping tummies tantalized by the buttery popcorn imagery.

The Candy Roses of Cape Care

"The Candy Roses of Cape Care" is the third and final chapter of the Green Series tales.  Located on a magical beach enchanted with roses that grow every imaginable candy, a group of cousins becomes distraught when their beautiful bay becomes polluted with trash.  Determined to clean up the beach and re-grow the gorgeous bushes of blooms, the children eventually inspire their community to end water pollution and to initiate their town's first Earth Day!
